We had a marvelous time at our Annual Christmas Tea on Monday, Dec. 18. 2017. If you’re not familiar with this event, it is quite simply our Christmas Party open to friends, families, and the community. We offer heavy hors d’ oeuvres prepared by our talented cooks, and we mix and mingle to celebrate this joyous season and another wonderful year.
Everyone “oohs and aahs” over the insanely gorgeous decorations and spends some much needed, good ole’ quality time with one another.
The highlight of the evening is when Santa arrives! St. Nick himself shows up to personally wish everyone a “Merry Christmas”. Photos with Santa are absolutely free. The children love to climb in his lap and tell how they have been good and what they want for Christmas.
Monday night, Santa took pictures with all residents of The Ridge and their families. All ate very well…too well, in fact. We had more food left over than we knew what to do with!
All in all, I’d say we had a pretty great night. Our residents thought so, too. They are still talking about it!
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very “Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, too!” See you next Christmas Tea time!
